Michelle’s Workroom, formerly known as Wondrous Workroom, was started by my Grandmother in 1960 in a downstairs apartment in Denver, Colorado. The business was then handed down to my father in 1994 where he ran the business until his retirement in 2012. Since then I have been running the shop out of my home in Colorado until moving to the Lowcountry in 2024. I currently run the business with the help of my son Ben and daughter-in-law LeeAnna, in the past few years we have grown from residential services to commercial services and have created pillows for the Gaylord Hotel in Aurora, Colorado, draperies for University Of Denver, as well as full designs of draperies, pillows, cushions and more for Morningstar Retirement Communities across the United States.
